I’ve been using the Flock browser on my mac for the past week or so and I absolutely LOVE it. I miss having the Firefox add-ons, but I can live without them because this browser is well-designed, and runs incredibly fast on my laptop. Seeing as how the idea of social networking is exploding over the web, thanks to the success of Facebook and other like-minded sites, users are going to need one hub to access all their different accounts easily. It’s funny, because not too long before I’d discovered Flock I was mentioning to a co-worker that there were too many social networking sites and that it’d be nice if they could be consolidated into one place. Flock consolidates all the major social networks, including various different types of media, and allows you to easily share with friends from each network and stay up-to-date. I also really like its RSS reader and its browser homepage, which is like iGoogle.
