A Korean Love Story

f/5.6 – 1/125 – ISO 320 – 125mm – Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi

We were cruising around this Zoo/Farm type park in these golf carts (the park is HUGE and impossible to cross without one in the span of one afternoon) and it was raining… not a good combo for taking photos. I used one of their park maps to make a make-shift camera hood/cover to protect my lens and camera… haha it was pretty ghetto and most of the photos have a corner of the brochure in some part of the picture. This is one of my favorites from that visit, and it managed to escape the brochure-corner fate. It just feels like a scene out of a Korean drama. :P

Kent Mercurio

He’s an SD local who takes AMAZING photographs. I actually found him through the media bar on my Flock browser :P I’ve had his website under my Recommended list for some time now, but didn’t get a chance to blog about him. He specializes in square film photography and you can check out his work on Flickr or on his website: kentmercurio.com

An example:

He makes San Diego look even more beautiful and breathtaking, and all of his photographs are so rich and detailed… definite eye candy.
