An experiment with Photoshop LAB… I took this photo during the summer, but the foreground was really dark. I used LAB to lighten it up a bit… it’s pretty nifty.

This was taken with my Canon SD850 IS. I just found out last week that I could do simple time lapse sequences on it so I decided to test it out. :) I had to speed it up a bit in Windows Movie Maker (I’m on my EeePC), but I’m glad it came out ok. The sky was so pretty.
So I was browsing the HD section of Vimeo (I love the style of this website… so unique) and came across this video:
Jetta Time Lapse from Ronnie Bruce on Vimeo.
I was going to look into buying a timer remote controller for my XTi but turns out Canon doesn’t even make them for this series. Luckily the creator of that time-lapse responded to comments on his video and he said he made his own using a TI Graphing Calculator. Time to dust mine off! Knew it’d come in handy some day haha.
If you’re interested in a cheap way of trying time-lapse photography, here you go :)
