This past Sunday, Shayna invited us to attend the Oceanside House Dedication. We’d gone to this work site when they first started… I think it was right after the Blitz had ended, so it was interesting to see it complete. I’d been missing Habitat, so this was a nice “teaser.” Hopefully, we can go on a build project sometime soon. I’m also waiting for the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project registration to open so I can apply! Anyone interested in going? :)

There were some ginormous koi swimming around in this pond. Almost surprised there isn’t one lurking in the shot. I like how dynamic the sky and clouds look reflected on the water.

He’s so cute! He looks so peaceful even though there were tons of people crowded around clapping and yelling, trying to get the koalas to look up. His fur also makes him look like a stuffed animal haha. :D

Here’s the color photo I took before this one. I think I like it more because of the color combination…
So I was just trying to do B&W shots of this lavender rose and all of a sudden a bee flew into the shot. I freaked a little, but kept snapping haha… I’m not a fan of the composition of the flower… didn’t turn out quite how I’d envisioned it, but the bee looks pretty cool in the last shot :P
