Does this camera angle make my butt look fat? Be honest now!
I don’t know what the tourists have been feeding these guys but I could swear they weren’t this chubby a couple of weeks ago!! Makes me wanna poke one and see how jiggly it is haha.. they look like jello squirrels :P
They’re so comfy now, after having worn them around more. The toes in the left were really tight but now it fits better and they’re easier to put on. I wore em to the library and to Vons today and minus the funny looks, it’s nice to feel like I’m walking barefoot :)
Even though the CBC retreat was awesome, coming back I’ve felt so down because I don’t know what to do about work, my career, whether I *should* move to the Bay, etc. I feel torn because I love that I’ve found the Exodus community and have been encouraged to grow spiritually because of them, and to leave them so soon would be difficult. Finding something like this has been a long time coming for me, especially since my own family lives so far away and I rarely get to see them. I also really need to start thinking about settling down and seeing all these people around me get married or having kids makes the urge to do the same even greater… and it’s mostly fueled by urgings by my mom every time we speak… and sadly so far SD does not seem to be a good place for single women lol
Anywho, I was re-watching my Happiness video to lift my spirits because it was so much fun to make :)
At retreat this past weekend we were in our small groups discussing the message and topics that had just been shared, when someone brought up that they had a difficult work environment and that they felt judged/persecuted/picked on in their workplace for being outwardly Christian, and I think many of us feel the same. However, this person then later added that they had placed a “Yes on Prop. 8″ poster up in their cube and I was immediately struck by how conflicting the two statements were. (Note, I am not belittling this person’s views nor am I condemning them and saying that my views are right, I am merely stating an observation and an opinion… long post, beware.)
