#2 :: Fishy

#2 :: Fishy, originally uploaded by fontaineshu.

I’ve started another photo project… this one with an added twist of requiring a hand-drawn sticky in each shot. I’ve got several ideas in mind already, and I’m just glad it lets me exercise my creative side a bit more. Lately I’ve been feeling inspiration-less and drained, so I’m hoping this livens things up :)

Hope you enjoy the photos! and feel free to shoot me ideas, too if you want :D

Bath Time

May 13 2009

My mom and I had fun giving Tia a bath… and Tia got us both back quite a few times. I ended up with dog bath water in my eye at one point haha…

Save me!

Wet, miserable dog

And after it all she gets a pedicure AND a walk.

Oceanside House Dedication

This past Sunday, Shayna invited us to attend the Oceanside House Dedication. We’d gone to this work site when they first started… I think it was right after the Blitz had ended, so it was interesting to see it complete. I’d been missing Habitat, so this was a nice “teaser.” Hopefully, we can go on a build project sometime soon. I’m also waiting for the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project registration to open so I can apply! Anyone interested in going? :)

La Jolla Cove

f/22 – 1/13 – ISO 200 – 50mm – Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi – Cropped

I had to crop out the lens flare, but I’m posting this because I loved the colors. I went to the cove to test out my polarizing filter and ended up seeing an awesome sunset.

La Jolla Cove

f/22 – 25 – ISO 100 – 50mm – Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi – Monochrome

Tried to go for a long exposure after sunset. I was playing around with my polarizing filter… got some very vividly colorful shots, but major lens flare, which I haven’t decided whether I liked or not.
