I could rant so much about COBRA, CONEXIS and applying for health insurance (and I’m still under the age of 30, too! I can’t imagine what this will be like in the future), but I’ll just say I am soooooooo tired of dealing with applications, third-party providers and worrying about being uninsured right now. I got royally screwed over by COBRA and CONEXIS when my previous employer went under and the whole system just makes absolutely no sense.
I’ve been so stressed out about this on top of working so hard to finally bring in more income this month than the cost of rent + insurance (when I had it) + living expenses. I’m constantly asking myself daily what I’m doing and if I’ve made/am making the right decision by contracting instead of pursuing another full-time gig. It’s like geez, give me a break… at least I’m not sitting on my ass doing absolutely nothing. 2010 has NOT been good to me so far, but yea I know, it could be worse. C’est la vie right? :)
I just want to be able to go to Nepal to build houses with Habitat for Humanity! I need $$$!!

Feb 7 2010I’m really digging this iTimeLapse app. I need to take the time to do more than just prop my iPhone up against a window and hit Start, but I like the results I’ve gotten so far. I wish I could lock the focus on my iPhone. On this one it’s really obvious that it keeps trying to focus, but it is a phone and not a camera anyways haha.
Project Stickies site underway

I started putting together the project stickies site (http://www.projectstickies.com). Been awhile since I’ve been so absorbed with coding late into the night (especially on a Friday night!) Hopefully I can get the basics up and running soon so that people can register and contribute their own stickies! And then I need to resume my stickies set as well. Man, I love WordPress! :P
Ok, I should sleep… I’m destroying my sleep schedule even further now.
