I went to walk around Balboa Park and saw a woman walking a rabbit!?! It was funny because two of the people next to me were walking dogs smaller than the rabbit was, and the dogs were so curious to see what it was. Luckily the owners kept them away. As I was leaving the park, I saw a couple walking a cat!?! It was grey with blackish spots, like a cheetah. Unfortunately my camera was packed away so I didn’t get any photos of it. The poor cat… it would half walk and then get scared and get dragged instead haha.

Took a walk through Balboa Park to relax and catch some air. It was busier than I’d seen in awhile. Also checked out the Museum of Photographic Arts, which had a really cool exhibit from Fredrick Roberts on India. Lots of good landscape photographs, including some abstract and surreal ones. Robert and Shana ParkeHarrison actually had a piece in the exhibit, too, which was cool, considering the first time I went into the MoPA I got to see their pieces featured. I love their work. The other main exhibit featured a Genetic Self-Portrait series by Gary Schneider. The flesh part of it was a little disturbing because the people looked like they were lying in a morgue. I wish the MoPA was larger here… then I could go more often to get inspired. :T

Another photo from the trip to Balboa Park. I like this one because it almost looks like a montage / overlays of a couple of simple photos, and that gives it a layered feel.
