Merry Christmas!

Dec 25 2009

Christmas 2009
Carol and I put together the Christmas tree. These are some iPhone shots of some ornaments from it… we’ve got some that go waaaaay back and are falling apart haha. Lots of memories on this tree.

It’s been a wonderful somewhat relaxing Christmas. I haven’t really done any of the work I was supposed to be doing, but stuff came up so not much I could do. I spent most of Christmas eve at the optometrist (for my mom) and then the dentist and then the hair salon (this one was a major waste of time). I was peeved to wait 3 hours for a less than 30 min haircut, and considering how much 3 hours actually costs me now that I work hourly (and I had been planning on doing some work that day since I lost a day driving) and how rushed and tired they were after working all day (we were some of their last customers by the time our turn came), the haircut wasn’t really worth it. She barely cut my hair and I’ll have to get another haircut soon -_-;

Oh well. Otherwise, besides the insane cold (my room is at 60ºF at night with no real heater), I can’t really complain :) We opened presents, took the customary pix, and all that good stuff.

And now, I’m currently watching the Chargers game :)

Tia’s always my first test subject when it comes to new camera equipment. I think she officially hates the sound of the camera shutter closing. :P

I LOVE my new 50mm prime lens. Blurs the background perfectly and the focal point is so crisp. :D
